About Concrete Youth
Concrete Youth is a charity dedicated to enriching the lives of people labelled with profound and multiple learning disabilities through high-quality cultural provision. Our work spans award-winning sensory theatre productions, education and engagement programmes, and international outreach. Since 2019, our live sensory work has reached over 10,500 audience members across five continents.
About Blueprint
Blueprint is a ground-breaking, multi-phase sensory theatre project from Concrete Youth, created in collaboration with people labelled with profound and multiple learning disabilities. Developed alongside our Chief Executive & Artistic Director Daniel Swift’s doctoral research, the project will establish a pioneering new model for multi-version sensory theatre—one that is flexible, co-created, and tailored to the unique ways our audience engage with theatre.
Blueprint sets out to transform the sector’s understanding of inclusive practice. Blueprint is a bold step forward in how sensory theatre is made, shared, and experienced. Blueprint is supported by public funding from Arts Council England.
